I found out yesterday that I am accepted to work in India by the India Gospel League. This is a major step because in all of my planning I did so out of a dependance that God would see my efforts through. He did! Not only does IGL want to use me, but they also set me up with an awesome travel agent that has made my life so much easier. So let me set this up for you. I have never been out of North America. I have never flown. I have never been somewhere that English was not the dominant language. Taking all of this into consideration (and probably more firsts), I will definitely be flying to India where the primary language is Hindi. The way I see it, I will either come up big and love it or go home beat up from all of the pressures. Regardless, I am all in. I will be flying from Orlando, to Miami, then to Paris to be able to make it to Bangalore, India. I will then be flying from Bangalore, back through Paris, to Atlanta to arrive back at Orlando International where I am certain that my mother will be waiting for me. My distracted nature is intrigued to stop in Paris for a two hour layover. For some reason I believe this will be the coolest part of my trip haha. But my mission is clear. I pray God will use me to come alongside IGL in order to reach the nation of India. In the next post I will discuss more on the present state of India and why India is so vital to be reached for evangelical Christianity and the world. I will send in my itinerary and visa application to be approved tomorrow. Hopefully I will hear back from them in a week or two.

Btw, I will be flying in the window seat. I asked the lady setting this up and she told me this would be the best spot for sleeping purposes. I took her advice. I hope she is right. I also hope that all of my luggage will get to India without any trouble. Stolen or missing luggage is not appealing to a stressful trip already.
