I guess any good blogger must first solve why he feels compelled to blog?!?! Once this is established a good blog has potential to be formed. It is not my intent by creating this blog to provide deep insight into the wonders of the world; rather, as one friend told me the other day, “The goal of blogging is transparency.” It will be my objective through this blog to expose myself (in a modest way) to my readers in order that they may know me, my thoughts, and my Savior Jesus Christ more. I know I do not have time to just sit down and read other people’s blogs. So I don’t know what to expect when it comes to reader feedback because I will probably not be leaving any feedback on other people’s pages. Sounds strange I know. But I wanted to spend a moment to tell you about me. I am 21 years young. I am a “little Christ,” or Christian as most people refer to us as lol. I came to faith in Jesus Christ when I was a boy (8). At the time I did not know how God was going to use me. Yet through plenty of discipline He has guided me past my adolescence (both physical and mental) and into maturity (spiritually and emotionally). Through reading God’s human-divine book, the Bible, I know how to live a life that is pleasing to God and how to avoid giving into my carnal nature (1 John 2). As you can tell faith plays a major part of my life. Also part of my life is a wonderful family and an amazing girlfriend that I could not praise enough. She has been by my side even when she has not been able to be right by my side. For three years now I have been six and a half hours away from her going to college and yet somehow she has stuck with me. In fact, I believe are relationship has taken on a whole new trust level by going through this time of separation (location wise). I mentioned my family and you need to know they are my backbone. My mother and father provide super insight into how to raise children in a God honoring home. They are also willing to drop everything to come to my support in anything: for this I am grateful. To round out my family, I have two brothers and two sisters (all succeeding in their field). I am the baby tho so I have obviously had it the hardest out of the siblings… Before I write what seems to be a full page paper, I want to say that I am a simple guy on mission for Christ. I love sports and I love the outdoors, but my focus now is how I can use those interests in ministry. Stay tuned in because I am only beginning to get into why I am producing this blog.
